A Wisconsin Operator License is required for anyone selling alcoholic beverages in a store (grocery, convenience or liquor store) and their managers. Individuals who complete this training, are more successful in stopping underage drinking and in recognizing the signs of intoxication.
This responsible beverage course meets the requirements set forth by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and fully complies with statutes 125.04 and 125.17.
Course Features

Certificate of Completion
The certificate of completion for your Responsible Beverage Seller/Server Training will be available to print from your computer immediately after passing the final exam. We will also email the certificate to the address you provided during registration. If you do not have a printer, you can select, during course registration, to have a certificate mailed to you.
If you need to obtain another copy of your certificate of completion, you can log back into your training account and print additional copies as needed.
Operator's License
To obtain your Bartender's License or Operator's License:
After you have successfully completed this Alcohol Server training course, you will take the printed certificate of completion to your local municipality (city, town, or village) where the clerk will register your certification and provide you with a Bartenders/Operator's License.
To qualify for an operators/bartender license, you will need to meet these requirements:
- be at least 18 years old
- meet the criminal records requirements,
- complete a responsible beverage server course, like the Server License course we provide.
