Alcohol training is required for anyone selling alcoholic beverages in a store (off-premise) and delivering alcohol.

Alcohol training is an important way to learn how to recognize signs of intoxication, how to check IDs, learn Montana state laws, and many other skills to help you keep your customers and your business safe.

**This course certification is for Off-Premise and Delivery ONLY.  If you require Server Training as well, please take our other approved course that covers all 3 types areas of alcohol training.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successfully completing our approved Montana Alcohol off-premise and delivery training course and final exam, you will be able to immediately print your certificate of completion. It will also be emailed to you.

Your certification is valid for 3 years from the date of course completion.

If you lose your certificate of completion and need a replacement, you can log back into your account and print additional copies.

Montana Training Requirements

Alcohol training is mandatory in the state of Montana for on-premise servers, off-premise sellers, and delivery personnel.

  • Sellers (off-premise) must complete training within 60 days of their hire date.
  • Delivery personnel must complete this training before making any deliveries.
  • The certification is good for 3 years.
  • To re-certify, a seller or delivery personnel must complete a new course and final exam.
