Our approved Montana responsible alcohol sales, service, and delivery course is designed for on-premise, off premise, and delivery personnel to promote the legal and responsible sale, service, and delivery of alcoholic beverages in Montana.

Alcohol training is now required for anyone selling alcoholic beverages in a store (off-premise), serving drinks in a bar or restaurant (on-premise), and delivering alcohol.

Alcohol training is an important way to learn how to recognize signs of intoxication, how to check ID's, learn Montana state laws, and many other skills to help you keep your customers and your establishment safe.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successfully completing our approved Montana Alcohol on-premise, off-premise, and delivery training course and final exam, you will be able to immediately print your certificate of completion. It will also be emailed to you.

Your certification is valid for 3 years from the date of course completion.

If you lose your certificate of completion and need a replacement, you can log back into your account and print additional copies.

Montana Training Requirements

Alcohol training is mandatory in the state of Montana for on-premise servers, off-premise sellers, and delivery personnel.

  • Sellers (off-premise) and servers (on-premise) must complete this training within 60 days of their hire date.
  • Delivery personnel must complete this training before making any deliveries.
  • The certification is good for 3 years.
  • To re - certify a seller, server, or delivery personnel must complete a new course and final exam.
