This Indiana Alcohol Server course is required to obtain your employee permit. This course is designed to promote the legal and responsible sale and service of alcoholic beverages in Indiana.

Alcohol Server training is an important way to learn how to recognize signs of intoxication, how to check ID's, minors and alcohol, Indiana state specific server laws, and many other skills to help you keep your customers and your establishment safe.

Our online Indiana Alcohol training course is a 2 hour interactive course with full audio narration and engaging real-world scenarios for the best user experience and information retention. This course that will work on your PC and mobile devices, like the iPhone and iPad.

Once you create an account you can log in from any computer or mobile device and train anytime, anywhere.

You have 6 months from enrollment to complete this course. You can log in and out of your training account and your place in the course will be saved.

After successfully completing this course and the 40 multiple choice question final exam, you will be able to print your certificate of completion from your own printer.

Certificate of Completion and Employee Permit

Upon successfully completing our Indiana Alcohol Server Training course and final exam, you will be able to immediately print your certificate of completion. It will also be emailed to you.

You will need to take your certificate of completion and submit it to the state along with the application for Employee Permit.

Indiana Training Requirements

Alcohol Server Training is mandatory in Indiana, and will need to be renewed every 3 years for servers 21 years of age or older.

  • For servers 21 years of age or older the training is required within 120 days of being hired to sell or serve alcohol. Although some employers may require that you complete this course before employment.
  • Servers that are 19 or 20 years old must be trained PRIOR to applying for a 2-year restricted alcohol employee permit. You must submit your original Certificate of Completion with your Restricted Permit Application.
